اين نوع نام گذاري به نام گذاري مجارستاني معروف است : Hungarian Notation
اين نام گذاري براي متغيرها و هر آنچه كه قرار است در هر برنامه اي نام گذاري شود نه فقط منحصر به ويژوال بيسيك استفاده ميشود
اين روش توسط Charles Simonyi ابداع شد و اكثرا در محصولات مايكروسافت بيشتر استفاده ميشود . در اين روش متغيرهاي شما تنها از سه يا چهار حرف استفاده ميكنند . كه وظيفه مشخص كردن نوع متغير را دارند .
