[1]In order to use computers effectively to solve problem in our environment, computer systems are devised.
[1] به منظور استفاده ی موثر برای حل مسائل در محیط اطراف خودمان،سیستم های کامپیوتری طراحی شده اند .

A 'system' implies a good mixture of integrated parts working together to form a useful whole. یک سیستم اشاره به یک ترکیب خوب از قسمت‌های یکپارچه که باهم برای شکل دهی یک کل مفید کار می کنند دارد

Computer systems may be discussed in two parts.
سیستم‌های کامپیوتری ممکن است که در دو قسمت مورد بحث واقع شوند .

[2]The first part is hardware-the physical, electronic, and electromechanical devices that are thought of and recognized as 'computers'.
[ 2] قسمت اول سخت افزار است-وسائل فیزیکی،الکترونیکی، و الکترومکانیکی که بعنوان کامپیوتر درک و پنداشته می شوند .

The second part is software-the programs that control and coordinate the activities of the computer hardware and that direct the processing of data.
قسمت دوم نرم افزار است-برنامه هایی که عملکردهای سخت افزار کامپیوتر را کنترل و هماهنگ می‌کند و آن‌که پردازش داده را هدایت می کند .

[3]Figure 5.1 shows diagrammatically the basic components of computer hardware joined together in a computer system, the processor, or usually the central processing unit (CPU).
[3] نمودار 5.1 بصورت هندسی اجزاء سخت افزار کامپیوتر که در یک سیستم کامپیوتری با هم پیوند دارند را نشان می دهد، پردازشگر،یا بصورت معمول واحد پردازشگر مرکزی (سی پی یو) .

The term 'computer' usually refers to those parts of hardware in which calculation and other data manipulations are performed, and to the internal memory in which data and instruction are stored during the actual execution of programs.
واژه ی کامپیوتر معمولا به آن قسمت هایی از سخت افزار که محاسبه می کنند و سایر دستکاری ها ی داده را انجام می دهند ،و همچنین به حافظه ی داخلی که داده و دستورالعمل ها را در طول اجرای حقیقی برنامه‌ها دلالت می کند .

The various peripherals, which include input and/or output devices, various secondary memory devices, and attached to the CPU.
وسائل جانبی مختلف، وسائل ورودی\خروجی ، وسایل حافظه ی ثانویه مختلف، و آنچه که به سی پی یو وابسته است را شامل می شود .

[4]Computer software can be divided into two very broad categories system software and applications software.
[4]نرم افزارهای کامپیوتری می‌توانند به دو دسته‌ی بسیار وسیع نرم افزارهای سیستمی و نرم افزارهای کاربردی تقسیم شوند.

The former is often simply referred to as 'systems'.

These, whom brought into internal memory, direct the computer to perform tasks.

The latter may be provided along with along with the hardware by a systems supplier as part of a computer product designed to answer a specific need in certain areas.

These complete hardware/software products are called turnkey systems.
این محصولات نرم افزاری\سخت افزاری تکمیل شده سیستم های جامع خوانده می شوند .

[5]The success or failure of any computer system depends on the skill with which the hardware and software components are selected and blended.
موفقیت یا شکست هر سیستم کامپیوتری بستگی به مهارتی دارد که سخت افزار و اجزای نرم افزاری را انتخاب می کند و با هم می آمیزد .

A poorly chosen system can be a monstrosity incapable of performing the tasks for which it was originally acquired.
یک انتخاب ضعیف سیستم می تواند بصورت بسیار شدید باعث ناتوانی انجام کارها شود برای اینکه اصالتا اکتسابی می باشد.
